“Cassie is a rescue from Puerto Rico and survived Hurricane Maria. She’s a great traveller and a snuggler. She spoons us in bed and she is the big spoon. I have 4 grandkids and they all love to walk her. She’s very chill but loves chasing squirrels and other small creatures in the country.”
Have you made any small changes to help the environment? “We have been composting for over 12 years. We carry water bottles and bags way before ban. Reuse materials in my jewelry making. We had a water shortage long ago so I’m super careful. Partner turns off water when he’s soaping up in shower. Bikes most places. Have hybrid car and rarely use in the city. Raised 2 kids and 4 grandkids to have same habits.”
